With the belief that all students can learn, Corydon Elementary School is committed to providing a challenging curriculum through effective instruction in a positive environment to develop lifelong learners.
The Indiana Department of Education released the accountability report card for the 2013 – 2014 school year. CES received a letter grade of “A”. Corydon Elementary has also been rated as a four star school by the Indiana Department of Education.
Corydon Elementary was originally built in 1967 and currently serves students in pre-kindergarten through third grade. During the past five years, the school population has remained fairly stable. Corydon Elementary is part of the South Harrison Community School Corporation. It is part of a school complex, where K-12 are in a 1 block radius of each other, with Corydon Intermediate School to the West, and Corydon Central Junior/Senior High School to the South
